Deimos Imaging, an UrtheCast company
Deimos Imaging, a subsidiary of UrtheCast Corp. (Canada), is a Spanish company that, with a diverse suite of sensors in space, is helping usher in a new era of Earth Observation (EO).
It owns and operates, through a 24/7 commercial service, the Deimos-1 and Deimos-2 satellites. Besides, it also processes and distributes imagery data and value-added products on behalf of the PanGeo Alliance, a network of seven satellite operators with a combined 13 medium- and high-resolution EO sensors.
Through Kanvas, Deimos Imaging’s new imagery service in ArcGIS, all Esri users can access timely, reliable and quality assured imagery, directly into their apps and desktops.
UrtheCast is also developing and expects to launch two EO satellite constellations: the world’s first fully-integrated constellation of multispectral optical and SAR satellites, called OptiSAR™, and a satellite constellation designed to capture high-quality, medium-resolution optical imagery of the Earth’s entire landmass every day, called UrtheDaily™. These constellations are expected to revolutionize the monitoring of our planet with medium- and high-resolution, high-coverage and high-revisit imagery in all weather conditions.
