ERA-MAPTEC is Ireland’s foremost supplier of satellite imagery, a leader in the field of GIS since 1983 and a provider of solutions to both government and industry. We specialise in the application of GIS and remote sensing to the fields of Land Cover Mapping, Waste Management, 3D Visualisation, Environmental impact studies, Map and atlas production. ERA-Maptec was established in 1983 as an on-campus company in Trinity College Dublin specialising in the use of remotely sensed data. We have since expanded to become a fully commercial organisation offering a wide range of consultancy services. ERA-Maptec staff combine wide experience in the exploration and environmental sectors with skills in database management, project planning with the technical and financial management of large-scale projects. We have carried out projects in more than 35 countries worldwide. The latest technologies are employed in the areas of image, map and report production.
