FieldSense is an application for farmers, advisors and service providers that utilizes multi-spectral satellite imagery to deliver frequent updates on the health status of crops. By combining algorithms, computer vision and big data analysis, FieldSense automatically notifies users of emerging crop health issues and provides advanced tools for prescribing variable-rate application maps.
FieldSense is available for web, smartphone and tablet and allows farmers to use the system everywhere at any time. As a subscription-based service, FieldSense presents a low-cost system that can easily be integrated into daily farming operations.
Ceptu, the company behind FieldSense, believes in a shared value approach to running our business, and as such, the increasing demand for sustainable solutions beneficial to society as a whole defines our market.
In 2014, the FieldSense idea won the Copernicus Masters Farming Challenge and has also won the ESA Space App Camp. FieldSense is also part of the new Danish Space Strategy.
